An attachment came in yesterday with pictures, like those above, telling that DNA tells every time. A truism, how cute, how clever and how wonderful that we all have inherited good genes with a little of the good as well as a little of the bad. I wonder what you would change if you had the opportunity. I think I'd start with the feet . How about you?
When you get 'down to brass tacks' as the old adage goes, we should be thankful for what we did inherit and be proud that we are who and what we are. Some spend a lifetime trying to be something they are not, changing themselves into a current style that doesn't suit them at all. Let us all be proud of who we are and work on perfecting ourselves into good human beings filled with a love that touches everyone we meet. Let us be satisfied , complacent, ready to make our insides as beautiful as our outsides and 'shine'.Be happy you inherited all the good and bad traits of your forebears as we are blessed with a full heart and a lofty soul , all in the image of Christ himself. Practice exercising all those smile muscles showing off how beautiful you really are. Put arm strength in your hugs. Walk a mile to help a friend. Share YOU with those you love and add a new friend whenever you can even if they have not inherited your genes. Reach out and touch someone, you just never know what you can learn today. or what you can teach today. Hugs to all. |
