Big business at its best.
Good morning. How are you today? Thursday morning all over again. Didn't I just say that? Seems like it. A holiday weekend and the end of summer. Fall is such a beautiful time of year. Just think the holidays are around the corner, hard to believe. I know, bite my tongue . . . smile . . . we are never ready even when forewarned. Better get the rake out first as the leaves are beginning to fall. Exercise is good for the body, if not the soul. Leaves
Crunching, crispy, wind blown leaves reds with browns and greens huddled on the sidewalk waiting for a breeze.
The inner eye, the child's eye remembers days of yore when walking off to school we kicked them to and fro making noises as we'd go.
Laughter filled the air the leaves so very light scattered with our kicks as they took a long, long flight.
We hurried home to find the rake and make huge piles of leaves built so high they couldn't fly until we jumped right in chasing them back to their ground only to rake again.
Crunching, crispy, wind blown leaves revives the memory as I walked along the street kicking leaves aside smiling, grinning, feeling good as the leaves went sailing by.
So make a date with your rake and have a Fall to remember. Don't forget one good deed today. Smile with your eyes and bear hugs are so needed and necessary. Give a little and get a lot. Hugs to all.
