Smile, it is one of the 'things' we do . . . Although Bob and Andrea sent me a lovely bird house made out of corks ; clever and cute and it looks lovely swinging off my back porch. Bob came up with the idea, very clever.
Emma and I spent the day together yesterday while daughter Patricia went over to Medford to see a foot doctor. Those spurs are painful and need attention as each step creates a change and soon the knees are hurting and then the back...feet, why can't we have really good dependable feet with no bunions, spurs and all that good stuff. It is all from the genes and I happened to inherit some really bad ones when it comes to feet and passed the genes on to my children and my grandchildren. They wont thank me, but then I didn't have anything to say in the matter. So the consensus of opinion is to have buniondectomies and hope they last a life time. So my advice today is to take good care of your feet. Wear good shoes, do not wear the latest craze of stilettos as they will only make matters worse. Soak your feet and baby them so they will take you where you want to go. Be kind to your feet. Be sure you give them a good dose of cream and put a little vinegar in your warm water and watch how beautiful your toe nails will be. Meanwhile dance in the rain, wiggle your toes to music and take long walks whenever you can. Oh, and elevate them every now and then it is good for circulation. You are smiling.....good...then you will take good care of your feet and find your way to walk in my door one of these days...coffee is on....hugs to all. |
