Angie took this picture from the boat, a real beauty. Sometimes this break in the clouds is known as God's Eye . . . we sure could use both eyes on us these days.
A new week starting, wonder what is in store for us. I hope you are taking good care of your health. My neighbor called last evening to tell me that she just returned from the hospital after a double mastectomy. She had no idea she had a problem as her last check up had been fine. She thought she had been over doing in her work habits as she was feeling tired. Her daughter insisted she go to get a check up and the end results was a quick trip to the hospital. She has a quick sense of humor and said it was one way to get all seven of her children to come and visit her. So, with all that in mind, pay attention to yourself and make sure you are hail and hardy. A once a year checkup can't hurt and my fend off a serious bout with a serious problem. It is sad you do not live closer so you could be invited to dinner. Jock caught a spring salmon and grilled it to perfection. Pat made two fantastic salads and I added an apple, blueberry crisp for desert. See what you miss when you live far away . . . guess you will have to plan a visit.
Say a prayer or two for all the families connected with that plane crash that took so many lives. A wake up call as to what 'toys' other countries are playing with and we have no idea. John Kerry is calling for an investigation...he has to be kidding when the facts are already known. Politics...bah humbug!!! So bend the knee a little today and say a prayer for all those whose lives were lost in seconds. Pray for their families to survive the shock and loss. Do at least one good deed today. Be good, be kind, be gentle and hum a lot. Hugs to all. |
