or this family of deer. What a talent. Not a wasted screw, bolt or piece of junk. Some folks are just born with artistic brain power and know how to use it.
Well here it is the First Day of April. . . April Fools Day. . . our winter weather persists this week and it keeps us house bound. The winds are whipping up bending the trees and making the ocean waves dance a merry tune. I made some chicken soup with lots of different vegetables yesterday and it came out pretty good. Another 'jean' dish. Pat tells me Jock called from Mexico and did get the big beautiful bird to finish off his world hunt ,but, no luck getting on the fishing boat as it was filled up. He will be back this week and probably find the fishing to his liking right here. We can hardly wait for his return and the tales he will have to tell. As for family news: Erin had rain and lower temperatures in Guyana and had a break from the heat and humidity. . .and mosquitoes. Son Michael called and has the flu which is not fun. Of course he got all the get well advice from me . John and Jo are making headway on the reconstruction of the house which started as an idea to change the kitchen but has become a top to bottom deal and an interesting lesson on learning once you start on project it leads on and on and on ....Christine is busy, busy, busy and planning a couple of business trips this spring. Patricia is housebound with three dogs and rainy days so she is doing what she has to which includes a heavy duty rain coat and ball tossing in the rain. A lot like dancing in the rain....And all of you, my friends, are keeping busy and enjoying your seconds as they come....good, keep up the good work and enjoy today; play a joke on someone and make them laugh out loud. Be an April Fool with a big grin and lots of hugs. Make those you love feel YOU today. Hugs to all. |
