Humor

At first I thought of grapes, then tangerines, even strawberries but never a flower.  Nature is filled with surprises.    I wonder what they really are.

The political cartoonist are right on the ball.   They never miss a chance to let us know what is going on.

Hopefully the next voting session will show we are Americans and stand together to get rid of those who would make us less.

and 'he' changes the goal post at every chance he can and gets away with it.

Harry has lost his wits but Pope Francis seems to have developed one.

Hump day and it is cold around here.    We have had wind and that seems to bring the Chetco effect home to roost.    There was a lot of white caps on the ocean yesterday.    I am not very good at fixing things anymore but tried my hand at screwing in a couple of loose screws on the garden gate.  It is so old it is falling apart , not just the screws and hinge but the entire gate.   Hopefully son Michael will fix it when he comes, maybe a new gate is in order.    My honey due list is growing, and both sons asked what I want for my birthday...they are kidding right?    I want a handy man, a gardener, a chef and a maid to do all that Katrina the Great used to do.  Ah, that old adage or saying of long ago . . . "I used to."   Once upon a time, back in the good old days.....smile.

You made it half way so get the rest of the week in order and finish up those chores you started.  Easter Sunday is three days away....yeah, a special day to celebrate a small victory if you stayed the course in giving something up for lent.   It is not as easy as it sounds.    But . . . it does give you a feeling of accomplishment and a sense of pride.

Make today worthwhile.    Put on your sunshine smile and rev up those arms for a hug or two.    Finish up your Easter surprises and don't forget to add a white chocolate bunny to your basket and one of those dark chocolates to go along with it.    Put a flower in your bonnet and remember to light a candle for those in need and say a prayer for our service men and women.  You can do it.    Light a half dozen candles and brighten up your world.     Hugs to all.
