Easter Saturday

We find nature has a way of reminding us about life.    I think these lilies show and remind us of the sad and horrible day of the crucifixion   and the amazing light and brightness of the coming resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday morning.    I would love to send each of you a special plant for your Easter table but you will have to be satisfied with the picture.

At this time of life most of my 'girl' friends are gone on to bigger and better things.   I have one left who would appreciate spending some quality time with me and if we could get down under the table  we would need more than a cup of tea to get up off that floor.    We'd change it to a bottle of wine  poured into a fancy glass and be glad the chair is handy  so we could get up again.  Ah, friends, what would we do without them!

Pat and Erin, enjoy the day.

A truism for sure.   How many of us know how hard it is to control our hair;  it just has a mind of its own.

A lovely picture taken by Angie of the sun setting on Good Friday.    how beautiful and peaceful.  A quiet time of day.

Here it is Easter Saturday, took forty days of lent to get here and we can all celebrate tomorrow.  Time to do some shopping today for that Easter basket.    The stores have every kind of candy you can imagine and the prices are set as if you were buying gold.    I tried to find white chocolate and all that was on the shelf was a tiny bunny.  Wonder where all the big white chocolate is, not much around this Easter.    I did find a lovely ham and asparagus to have if someone decides to darken my door.    I will have to ride over to the Port and check out the candy store and see if  they have some.     So catch up with yourself today and get ready to celebrate Easter Sunday.   Don't forget a flower in your Easter bonnet;   a smile in your eyes as you share many hugs for the day.    Ham or Spring lamb, the choice is yours, so whet the appetite and celebrate. Hugs to all.
