Rainbow

A rainbow of colors;  such an array, they would brighten up a room .  I have just the vase for them, just wish I had them growing in my garden.   I was invited to my neighbors for some clam chowder last evening so brought her a tiny potted dahlia that resembled a colorful star with several of these colors in it.   She is going to plant it in her garden box on her back porch so I can see it too.

I admire those who can be so creative and make cauliflower and broccoli look so inviting.  almost to cute to eat.

Easter is coming . . . tomorrow is Palm Sunday

Here is our great hunter, Jock, back from  the beautiful Mexican retreat where he found reasons to smile.  He had a great time and has tales to tell.   Look at that smile.  I hope he brought a few of the feathers back.  I got to see the pictures he brought back, including the one above, and he managed to see a few sights along the way.   He got to the Inca ruins and managed to get in a fishing trip as well.    He sure knows how to take a vacation.

The weekend is here to enjoy.    Give yourself a break and get in a little rest and relaxation.    Just do not get too complacent as there are still things to do that require your attention such as a trip to the grocery store for something special for dinner tonight . . . extending an invitation to a family member or a neighbor who could use a hug and a hot meal.    Call a friend to say hello and let them know that you miss seeing them.    Make a date for the future as time has a way of getting on without realizing it.     Remember to help; a veteran in any way you can.   It was good to see Rosalind Carter, a former First Lady, is going to help head up a group to call attention to the needs of our returning veterans who are in such need.    We have not the slightest idea of what these men and women have gone through over in Afghanistan.  So get on and enjoy your weekend and make yourself ten feet tall as you donate some of your seconds to a worthy cause.    Be generous, be aware, be wise and be good to yourself so you can be good to those you love.    Put a smile on your face, warmth in your hugs and sparkle.  Hugs to all.
