Pictures Say a Thousand Words

PICTURES SAY IT ALL;    THOUGHT A LITTLE POLITICS THIS MORNING MIGHT WAKE UP A FEW FOLKS SO THAT WHEN VOTING TIME COMES AROUND THEY WILL WANT TO GET OUT AND MAKE A 'CHANGE'.   YOU HAVE TO AGREE THE FIRST LADY SAYS WHAT  SHE MEANS AND MEANS WHAT SHE SAYS.

A terrific float

One of the Good Guys

Michele and her son Michael are in the Carson Valley Day Parade riding in that jail float that son Michael  built .  I'd love to be up there to see the parade and have some fun.  Annie needs a gun, and that Lone Ranger sure is a cutie.

It is Saturday, all day, hopefully the heat calms down up there in the valley as it has been in  ninety eight degrees all week.    The folks are in for a fun day.   Down here by the ocean, the sky is red, beautiful to look at but the old saying goes something like red sky in the morning sailor take warning.  Must be the after effect of the full moon and Friday the 13th. I'm off to have my coffee, wake up and turn on the news to see what has happened in the wee hours.

I stopped off to light a candle at the Star of the Sea only to find the doors locked.  A first.  In all of the years I have visited a church, this is the first time I found a locked door.   I would think they would be wide open inviting us in to say a prayer or two for all the ongoing horrors on going.   The knees work at home so as some would say 'no biggie.'

Make your seconds count, be good, be kind, be gentle, be aware, be a thinker and a doer so you can make your corner of the world a little brighter.    Don't forget smiles and hugs, hugs and smiles and they work so much better when shared. Hugs to all.
