Red, Merlot is a good one, and it was on sale . . . good reason to keep some extra around, maybe someone will stop in and share a glass with some of that delicious hummus and those crispy crackers. I've got the makings, if you have the time.
Saturday morning, a good time to sleep in and store up some energy for the day ahead. When you do wake up, say a prayer or two for those who are ill and teetering on the edge of life seconds, as they fight to survive, some on a very slow walk to the Garden Gate. It is a very difficult time for the patient who wants to recover and the family who have to stand by and watch someone they love teeter on the edge of life and death. Remember to say a prayer for Jock's brother who is in intensive care.
Pat is coming in the driveway with the Saturday paper and news of her plans for today. She is learning about coins, first it was buttons, then it was marbles . . um. a lady with an interest in many things. I've been invited to help in her research; I don't think so, at least not before I have my coffee and wake up.
Use your seconds as they come and make good use of them today . Follow your special hobby and enjoy yourself in whatever holds your love and attention. Turn on some music, hum along and make this Saturday a smiley day even if it is hot and humid and windy or wet and rainy; whatever comes your way, grin and bear it. Start humming . . "It's a lovely day to day, for whatever you have to do . . . la, la, la" Hugs to all. |
