A summer rose, soft, pink, shadows, perfection, is that a tiny creature hiding?  Looks like a tiny frog.

The Pacific Rim Trail.    Looks like a great place to hike.  I like to hike over at Lone Ranch beach where the pathway is shorter.

Good things to eat, and good things to add to your stews.

Clever.   I can just see a little guy turning himself upside down to watch the sand drop down.

This has happened to me more than once.   I think I am in the mood to cook up something special, get out the cook book, start looking for that delectable recipe to follow and one read later, the book is closed and I am settling for peanut butter and crackers.

The second day of June, we have a few things to prepare for this month so mark your calendars.   June 6th is D-Day, Allied Invasion of Europe (1944).  A great day to fly your flag.  I didn't know the U.S. Army was founded in 1775 and is called "Flag Day ", so leave the flag up as it is followed by Father's Day on June 15th and he deserves recognition.  Summer begins on the 21st .   Did you know the Pledge of Allegiance was recognized by Congress (1942), sure took them long enough!  and, the G.I. Bill was signed into law in 1944 and thus began the trek to the boonies.   The Korean War began in 1950 on June 25th so it seems June is a history month.

Joy is prayer - Joy is strength - Joy is love - Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls.   Mother Teresa

So go, be joyful today.   Hugs to all.
