This is quite a shot. It has a nice feel to it . . . moon shadows.
Hump Day, gets here on time every week. Mid week . . . half of June gone already; I am enjoying the cool of the wind, we are having, but it does not help the balance while weeding in the garden. I got a whole big bucket filled yesterday. The ivy wants to take over as it winds and binds within the bushes. Pesky stuff. I had a call from Rocky who is overdo in mowing this month and now I know why. He is a short fellow and had some tall bushes to use that big heavy electric clipper and it proved to be too much. He is now down with several problems he is hoping his chiropractor can put back together. Say a prayer for him and one that the grass wont grow to fast until he is better.
I hope you have plans for your hump day. Pat and I are going to work more on the yard sale set up. It takes a lot of work and time and patience. We could use more tables but will have to rig up a door on some 'horses and spread out a bit. Meanwhile. Pat is taking back some lovely looking oranges this morning. They proved to be duds. Large, colorful and what I would say 'frozen' insides. You cannot even get juice out of them if any at all it would be less than a spoonful. The growers must have frozen the oranges when they had some problems with weather this past year and are passing them off as big and beautiful but beware as these are useless, no taste, no life to them. So we live with disappointments and we survive. We just have to be very careful buying foods these days. So when you go marketing today for the weekend, keep a close eye on the produce. I can tell you the watermelon is good, see, the day is not a total loss. Enjoy your seconds, be good, be kind, be gentle and don't forget the one good deed today. Be loving, be hugging, be smiling and you'll make it through the whole day. Hugs to all. |
