Neighbors

Up In Port Orchard these folks are wearing orange to show their awareness of folks who are in need.  They make sure the Food Bank gets donations and want you to join them and make sure your food bank is in good stead.  There are so many folks in need these days.   The price of food is not going down, sorry to say, but up.  Some of us are so much better off and can afford to feed ourselves in the style we are accustomed to, but some folks haven't seen a pay check or a good meal in a long while.   The holidays are coming up and folks do get  a bit more generous but empty bellies can't wait for holidays.   Here's your chance to do one of your good deeds today . . . wear orange and tell folks to join you in getting some food to the local food bank.  You will be rewarded with a whole pound loss.

Bob and Andrea were off to a picnic with friends at Gold Water Park.  Looks like they had fresh air and sunshine and found a game to play.

The beautiful Skamania Golf course where you can play eighteen holes and enjoy beauty and sunshine, then, if you get hungry they serve a delightful delicious dinner.  This new ad hoping for new guests said the dinner was $29.00 marked down from the original price of $75.00.   I wonder if they thought to give the left overs to the food bank.

This was on Facebook.  I like it.   I like hugs.   So if you are in Facebook share . . . think of all those folks you know who will be happy for a cyber hug;  a bear hug;   a walk in hug;  a verbal hug, any or all will do.

Tuesday, mid September I wrote to the help folks at Juno complaining about the changes made to the computer and got an immediate answer.  Maybe it was saying I was 90 that did it; but  telling them I was not computer literate didn't help as the came back with suggestions to help me get back to normal size in print and pictures but I don't understand their lingo. . what's a browser?   I could go on but you know all those things.  I am lucky I know how to turn the computer on.  Maybe son John will rescue me.

Coffee is ready and so am I.    Make today special, just like YOU.   One good deed deserves another and maybe today will be a day someone will make you the recipient of a very good deed. Hugs to all.
