If you want to know what is going on in our political world, just look in your updates from friends. The cartoonist know how to get to what is going on while our newscasters seem to be watching the Hollywood crowds. Fox gets in trouble for telling it as it is but sometimes get carried away with some of the antics of trying to put a little humor in the mix. So if you don't have time to watch television, pick up on a cartoon or two.
Meanwhile it is Tuesday all day, saying goodbye to daughter Christine today as she wends her way back to Port Orchard. She will have to find out how many slips of papers the two cats have left for her to pick up. It has been an ongoing mystery for months now. The cats carry up pieces of paper from her downstairs office , up over stairs, and drop them in the hallway. Trying to tell her something but she has not figured out what it is they are trying to tell her. A mystery.
She is a wonder and I will miss her. We all went to have ribs and good things last evening and it was so nice to sit around and just relax and enjoy each others company. Mary Beth, Erin and I rode down to the Trees of Mystery and the ladies went up on the gondola and saw the sights. They did the walk through the red woods and Mary Beth was delighted at the sights and sounds. She has loads of pictures of our area to take back to Rhode Island. She leaves tomorrow so the house will have a very empty feeling.
It is wonderful to share with those you love; a little empty when they leave until the usual routine starts back in and then we wait for time when we can meet again. Don't hesitate to invite family from far away to visit as they make time go by in a very special way. You catch up on family history and help add to the pot. Enjoy today, treasure your moments with those you love. Hugs to all.
