Waves

A wave bubbling up from the sea, taller than the light house at Sunderland, England.  It looks like a big fat polar bear.

The Cornish Coastline gets a huge grouping of waves.  One looks like a huge whale.  Is that King Neptune's finger calling the folks in for a swim?   Thunderous wave action wearing the land away.

I saw many a sheep in Ireland and we waited patiently for them to pass.  Here they have their own road.  Wonder where they were off to.

Ginny sent this picture of the sunset .  It reminds me of our flag.

Hump Day, I'm back from dog sitting Emma while Pat and Erin went over to Medford for an overnighter and a few doctor visits.    We had a good time and she is good company.   She takes all of her doggy toys out of the basket and brings them for a look-see;  you can choose one or as many as you like providing you play tug-of-war with her.   We went out in the  yard and did a little clipping;  got a whole big black bag filled with leaves and cleaned up a little of the garden area.    I couldn't fault her when I stepped in her dodo, you do  have to look before  you leap;  I know that.   Washed shoes, haven't done that in awhile.  Ugly spiders spinning beautiful webs and probably angry ones after I disturbed a few webs.   They really are a work of art.

The ladies stopped of at Costco and renewed a few necessary evils.   I had a short  list  and two items were unavailable but Pat added a couple of replacement s so I am in good in good stead and have a few extras I will enjoy.   Malbec  in the wine rack in case anyone decides to stop for a libation with a few crackers and a bit of cheese.   Emma and I did fine but I am now back to my own bailiwick and have my computer on, am blogging and doing a bit of bragging to some of my favorite people.   Now to check the scrabble game and see what kind of letters I have to work with.  So far I am on the last of the list of folks who seem to get  more 'bingos' than I do.   Wonder why they call them bingos?

Mid September, the rain clouds are suppose to come in and we have a few spots showing on the porch.  Wish it would we have a good heavy duty rain as we really need it.   It has not rained in six months to any extent, a few drops here and there.    I better be careful what I wish for as the news tells us that hurricanes are on the east coasts and in some areas flooding is expected.   Hearing the town of Weed, California has been destroyed by horrible fires is scary.  Those folks are going to need a few donations so don't forget you can help when you do your good deed for the day.    Be good, be kind, be giving as one never knows when they can be in the same position.    Each day is a new day filled with surprises, some good, some bad and some just impossible.   Offer up a prayer or two and be as generous as you can be.  Hugs to all.
