Interesting

Last time you saw a picture of Judy's house in Colorado it had only a couple of the new brick patterns on it;  here it is all finished and she did it .  This lady is amazing.   She can do anything and has no fear of starting a project from start to finish.

A sad declaration from our President. . .  a pen and a phone and he changes our country into a third world country without a second thought.   Wonder where he plans to retire when his term is up.

This burning crater, the Darvaza gas crater is in the Turkmenistan desert which is part of the Soviet.  It is nicknamed 'the gates of hell'.  Scientist were looking for oil fields , began drilling and the site collapsed under the weight of the drilling gear.

The once frozen Beaufort Sea which is part of the Arctic Sea, which was perpetual ice, and now because of warmer temperatures, sixteen foot waves come in and cause a reduction in the ice causing quicker erosion and boost in green house gases.

Crater in Yamal Peninsula of Siberia.   First it was a sink hole.  Natural gas caused pressure to build, water collected in the underground cavity and the dirt piled high around the crater.

Mystery Lake surfaced in Tunisia near the city of Gafsa.   Sixty five foot deep, rich in phosphate deposits which is radio active.  The water is stagnant and condusive to diseases..  The theory is that seismic activity created it and may have a little to do with  phosphate mining .

All in all our earth is wondrous but a bit fragile.

The weekend is ending and I hear the music festival is going strong and the music great.   About thirteen thousand folks turned up and the weather was perfect, warm but a bit breezy, better than hotter than hell and no shade.   It ends at ten o'clock tonight but daughter Patricia will be home in her bed by then.   Just think she will miss that traffic jam getting out of that huge field.   I'll hear all about it tomorrow, wonder if she took any pictures.  Meanwhile, I was invited out to Ship and Shore and had Prime Rib for dinner . . . wow, it was really good, cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, it had been a very long time.  Beautiful ocean to look at, calm and serene.   A little merlot to clean the palette and good company;  a great way to spend some of those seconds I talk about.
So, invite someone to join you and go and have a luscious prime rib with all the trimmings.  It is good for you to get out of the kitchen and let someone else do the cooking and the cleaning up.   I could make a habit of it but I'd have to win a big one to do that.   Enjoy your Sunday doing what you love best.    Hugs to all.
