Quake

Harpy Eagle.  The largest eagle in our world.    What a face!  Reminds me of a teacher I used to know, serious, no nonsense and you will learn or I will want to know the reason why.

This is called the flying stick orchid.   Looks like dancing ducks to me.

A beautiful picture of Napa Valley.   Wonder if the grapes were damaged in the recent quake.  There have been many after shocks which is adding to the destruction of some of the old buildings.   Say a prayer or two that the folks will recover and that big one that has been predicted for years will be many more years away.    This one is not over yet.

Hump Day, the week is midway and that means Labor Day is coming up;  the last of the summer and the beginning of the new school year for the children.   In one way it is hard to give up the freedom of the summer, and yet, they are often very glad  to be back in school.  I wonder what will become of those thousand of children that are coming over the open border on a daily basis.   Seems so strange the news about them is all over the news for days, then silence as the media goes on to something more pressing and it is if they never existed.    The ISIS group is commanding attention and they have laid down the gauntlet.  So what will the news contain today?    I am off to make my coffee and find out.   So turn on your television, listen to some news, enjoy your tea or coffee or latte and think about what you can do today  to make your world a better place.   Give a little, love a lot.   Hugs to all.
