Bits

This man found a little deer in his back yard and they became friends.  He used to be a hunter but now he has a change of heart and will not hunt again and wont allow anyone to hunt his new pet.

This little pet is Queso Angie's little helper.  She was putting a new grill together and he wanted to help.  He did, he hid her tools when she laid them down.

The big cat was going after the hunting dogs but the donkey decided to intervene.

A lovely abstract painting by Miss Monihan,  a young deaf artist who shows the world her talent and her love of beauty.    It is often said beauty is in the eye of the beholder.   In this abstract you can see a rainbow, ocean waves, bright sunshine, and even the skirt of a dancer whirling to the sound of castanets.  Happiness comes in many forms, shapes and colors.

Ready for the weekend?   It is just about here.    We have rain.  We have cold.   We have winter weather in spring.   My furnace is back on.   Pat and I had a ride over to the bowling alley for lunch.  They have the best hamburger in town and it was our last chance to enjoy one as they were closing the doors forever yesterday.   We went to say goodbye to the ladies who have been such fun to visit there.   We think they should open a restaurant of their own but they don't have the money to start up.   We have had several small ones close, sad they couldn't open one of them.   One more closed down  building.   One more empty spot.   I am surprised the only bowling alley in town is closed down.   Most of the galleries are gone.  Main street looks down and out. Some one is building a new auto part store which we do not need.   Doesn't make sense.    It was nice to see a good crowd there to say goodbye and fill the tip jar up and show the ladies they really were appreciated.   We need a small miracle to bring some life back to town, and our country as a whole.

Don't forget Mother's Day is this coming Sunday so be sure to take time to call, to write, to visit and share a hug or two.    Some of you have mother's who have gone on to be a shining star; so go light a candle and visit for a short while.    Out of sight is never out of mind.     Don't forget the hugs as they mean more than you will ever know.    Verbal ones mean a lot too.    Hugs to all.
