Colors

The spammers are at it again;  wish they would find something better to do with their time than trying and sometimes succeeding in making problems for the rest of us.    I joined the Jacquie Lawson card outfit a few years back and have fun sending cute and clever cards to family and friends.   I had a note on my computer this morning saying that the hackers are using her name misspelled, and if you use it a lot of advertisements , not in good taste, will be on  your computer.  So be on the lookout, if you use these cards.  Be on the lookout for any  and all spam artists.   My thought is that what goes around , comes around, so maybe we will see a time when all spamming can be stopped.  Some of our programs catch some of the spam  now, wish they could catch it all.      I am not fond of all the ads either.  Wish we could find a way of circumventing them.  All I can do now is refuse to buy anything advertised especially if it comes on over and over and over.    There has to be a smarter way to let us know a good deal when we see one.

 

Our popular and loveable Jock was in for one more celebration, this time on his actual birth date.  Pat took  him out for a Pancho special and he enjoyed every bite.   I'd say he had a terrific birthday month and it didn't scare him a bit to become one year older.   I tell him the best is yet to come.  I got to join in and that mini tostada gets better each time I order it.   A big tortilla, whole beans, chicken, salad greens and a dollop of sour cream. . . yum.

 

So today check around and find out if someone  you know and love is having a birthday and help celebrate a special occasion.    Birthdays are necessary, just remember they are in existence because  you came into this world and made it a lot brighter and nicer.   Don't think of numbers as that is not important;  think of all those wonderful contributions you make to family and friends  and let them celebrate you when it is your special day.  You can return the favor on their special day.  A special favorite desert, family and friends surrounding you and lots of hugs and kisses . . .um. . . can't get much better than that.  Go find someone having a birthday and help them celebrate.  Don't forget bear hugs . . .
