Peaceful

Hecita Lighthouse along the Oregon Coast;  a calendar picture, quiet!!!

Students in China protesting for Democracy and they do it with such class.  They clean up after themselves and they show how to protest and get their point across without violence.

I'd like one of these in my back yard.   A lot of wholesome charm.

Another of Sheila's creative Halloween decorations.    A flower lover,  you can tell.

We got our pea soup fog in late yesterday afternoon.   Pat, La Verne and I rode over to the Casino and had the Monday night special, Prime Rib and all the fixings.  It is an eerie ride in the thick fog, a feeling of shadows and mystery.    Everything disappears then the sun tries to break through and  you see shapes and forms of the familiar trees and houses along the way.   Then all disappear and the fog surrounds you and quiet prevails.   Everyone takes a very slow ride along the highway, the one element of nature that automatically slows one down.    Having a little mist and fog in our lives is a good thing as it reminds us to slow down and take it easy.   Each of us has the tentacles of life surrounding us and we spin our wheels trying to resolve problems we cannot always find 'easy' answers to.    When you slow down the mind opens and you think, which leads to a resolution.  Maybe it isn't always the one you wish for, but it is always one step towards your goal in solving , or at least resolving, the dilemma you find yourself in.

Take time today to slow down.   Stop, look, listen and resolve a problem or two of your very  own.    Be good, be kind, be tolerant, remember that patience is a virtue that leads to bigger and better ideas.   Help just one family member, or a friend, maybe even an enemy who is jealous of your accomplishments and much to lazy to build their own.   Show what patience can do.  Smile with your eyes, share a hug or two and spread a little joy today.   Hugs to all.
